Oracle Fusion Cloud Data Migration Manager

On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for an Oracle Fusion Cloud Senior Data Migration Manager (Inside IR35) for a 3 Month Hybrid contract based 1/2 days per week in London or Bristol.

Note: SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position, (and speed at which we require a postholder in situ), preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance

Job Description
. Oversight & Assurance - Provide governance on data quality, cleansing, transformation, and migration activities within the CSM programme.
. Migration Strategy - Ensure data migration and archiving strategies meet quality standards and MOD retention policies.
. End-to-End Migration - Quality assure migration from Legacy Oracle ERP and other systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud (Financials, HCM, EPM).
. Data Cleansing - Validate cleansing approach and monitor delivery of cleansing work packages.
. Risk Management - Identify migration risks, propose mitigations, and maintain data integrity throughout.
. Data Architecture - Assure architecture of data assets across their life cycle and alignment with enterprise architecture.
. Collaboration - Work closely with system integrators and technical teams to ensure agreed architecture and integration consistency.
. Technical Support - Support design, build, and execution of migration activities, including mapping sheets, transformation logic, and load monitoring (CloudBridge, FBDI, HDL).
. Validation & Reconciliation - Oversee data validation between source and target systems, resolving discrepancies.
. Integration & Reporting - Assure inbound/outbound flows (OIC), extraction (SFTP, OCI), and reporting alignment (BIP, BICC, FDI) with audit and traceability frameworks.
. Cutover & Testing - Contribute to rehearsals, SIT/UAT cycles, error handling, and post-load verification.
. Governance & RAID - Support RAID identification, validate proposals for technical design authority, and report progress to programme leadership.

Skills and Experience
. Delivery credibility: Strong understanding on Oracle Fusion data structures, data transformation, data mapping and assurance gained through several large implementation programmes
. Technical Knowledge: Significant technical knowledge and experience to contribute towards data mapping, cleansing, transformation and migration with hands-on experience
. Fusion Cloud Implementation Methodology: Sound understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation methodologies specially those related to data migration and phase wise delivery steps with the ability to articulate client and delivery partner side responsibilities
. Fusion Cloud Products: Deep knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud and Fusion data models. The role requires hands on experience and the ability to constantly move between strategic thinking and hands on implementation seamlessly, as the situation demands

Essential Experience
. Solid understanding of Fusion data models and experience interfacing with FBDI, HDL, and BICC artefacts
. Proven experience in leading data migration projects for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial Management, HCM and EPM within a complex Legacy environment of source systems, which include Oracle and non-Oracle point systems
. Proven experience of Oracle master data management products
. Strong understanding of data management methodologies
. Knowledge of Oracle ERP, HCM, and EPM Cloud integrations
. This is not an Oracle Fusion Cloud programme management or pure delivery management role. It needs hand-on technical experience
