Job Title: Oracle DB technical Architect

Location: London, UK(2 days in a week from office, Hybrid)

Job type: 6 months contract with possible extension

This role requires the candidate who is already holding active Security Check (SC) clearance in accordance with UK Government standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design implement and manage Exadata Cloud Service ExaCS database solutions
  • Develop and maintain database architecture strategies to support business goals
  • Lead the migration and integration of databases across multi cloud database environments including Oracle Cloud AWS Azure and Google Cloud
  • Ensure high availability scalability and performance of database systems
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.

Requirements:

    • Handson experience with migrating large databases to Exadata ExaCS ExaCC platform.
    • Experience with migrating database to ATPADW
    • Design Database consolidation and reduce OPEX spending
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database architects and administrators
    • Conduct performance tuning capacity planning and security assessments
    • Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and cloud offerings
    • Implement and manage Exadata X9 hardware including persistent memory PMem and RDMA algorithms to optimize performance and reduce latency
    • Deploy and manage Exadata X1110M98 hardware leveraging its scaleout highperformance database Servers and intelligent storage Servers
    • Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience in the following areas RAC RAT testing ASM Exadata Performance tuning Data Guard Physical and Logical DG Broker
    • Experience in database security TDE Audit Vault OKV etc
    • Experience in OS administration Linux Solaris virtualization storage ZFS ZDLRA
