# Optimisation Analyst Optimisation Analyst About Swoop Funding Swoop Funding is a leading business funding platform that helps SMEs access loans, equity, and grants. We simplify and accelerate the funding journey by connecting businesses with lenders and investors through our technology-driven platform and expert advisory team. Role overview You will be working closely with the CSO to increase the use of business intelligence data and create processes for growth, with the aim of increasing productivity and profitability.The role requires strong analytical and problem solving capabilities; as well as excellent people skills to communicate and implement change. You will work alongside stakeholders across the business, from Sales and Operations through to our Product and Technology team. Responsibilities Data-driven decision making Drive forward KPI reporting and monitoring across the teams to deliver growth and efficiency Track, analyse, and communicate key sales and operational KPIs. Translate data insights into actionable strategies that improve performance and support leadership decision-making. Operational excellence Oversee and continuously optimise Hubspot CRM to improve efficiency, scalability, and commercial performance. Identify process gaps and implement sustainable, data-driven improvements. Partner with data, product, and technology teams to deliver workflow automation and process enhancements. Lead management & funnel performance Develop and refine lead routing, scoring, and assignment logic to maximise speed and quality of engagement. Monitor and enforce internal SLAs to ensure timely follow-up and strong lead hygiene. Analyse the full conversion funnel-from inbound lead to deal won-to identify bottlenecks and implement targeted improvement initiatives. Skills & experience Essential 3+ years hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM, including reporting, workflow management, and automation. Business analyst, data analyst or project management experience from fast-paced environments like startups, scale-ups, consultancy etc. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with a structured approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills. Strong problem solving and analytics, e.g. through MS Excel and tools like PowerBI. Desirable Experience in SME lending, funding operations, or financial process management. Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualisation tools. Key attributes Analytical thinker who thrives on optimising processes and driving measurable improvements. Detail-oriented and highly organised, with a drive for operational excellence. Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Proactive problem-solver focused on outcomes, efficiency, and impact. Salary: £50 - £55k DOE.
