Role Overview

As the Operations Trainer - Driver Training & Compliance, you will be the national authority on professional driving standards, lead the development of a consistent driver training program, coach driver trainer assessors and managers, and serve as the final decision maker for escalated DriveCam or training matters. The role focuses on safe, compliant driving and delivering structured training programs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a consistent, professional, and compliant driver training offer across the country.
  • Deliver coaching support to Driver Trainer Assessors (DTAs), managers, and the wider driver population.
  • Serve as the final decision maker in escalated DriveCam or training matters.
  • Design and deliver impactful training programmes using recognised frameworks such as Bloom's Taxonomy.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in driver training, coaching, or compliance roles.
  • Proven adjudication and decision making skills in safety critical environments.
  • Class 1 licence and ADR.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK regularly to support sites.
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or other instructional qualification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Lytx DriveCam and/or Convey systems.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing abilities.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to working hours.
  • Subject to a Criminal (DBS) Check.
