Job Description

ROLE: Operations Technician HOURS: 40-hour, 5-day week with requirement for some weekend working. LOCATION: Anglesey

Role Responsibilities
  • Plant operator; must have an understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised, sometimes at remote sites.
  • Process experience; relevant experience in the water/wastewater or process industry an advantage but not essential.
  • Flexible; must be willing to adapt to changing requirements to meet customer demands.
  • Customer focused; must be able to communicate at all levels and gain the trust and respect of customers.
  • Able to work away from home for periods of up to 10 days (depending on shift pattern).
  • Shift work; able to commit to changing shift patterns to meet customer requirements such as staggered starts and night shifts.
  • Driving licence; must have a full, ideally clean driving licence for manual vehicles.
  • Tractor & trailer experience essential.
  • Forklift and/or Telehandler licence an advantage.
  • To install, operate and maintain our range of Mobile Separation Equipment.
  • Optimise machine settings to achieve desired processing parameters.
  • Assist Service Engineers when on site or at the company workshop.
  • Understand and follow Risk Assessments and Method Statements prior to undertaking installation and operating work.
Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work unsupervised at remote sites.

  • Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work away from home for up to 10 days.
  • Ability to work shifts, including staggered starts and nights.
  • Full driving licence for manual vehicles (ideally clean).
  • Tractor & trailer experience.
  • Forklift and/or Telehandler licence (advantage).
