Job Description

Finance & Operations Officer

    • Are you highly organised?
    • Do you have an eye for detail and accuracy?
    • Are you interested in helping to create order and systems in a Tower-Hamlets based charity?

We are looking for an Finance & Operations Officer role to work with everyone in the organisation, including the trustee board, to help improve and implement organisational systems during the next phase of our development. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to get involved with all aspects of running a charity, including finance, governance and operations.

    • Salary: £35,000pa pro rata
    • Contract: Part time (21 hours per week), for one year (with potential to be extended, subject to funding)
    • Hours: 3 days a week (21 hours)

    3. Could you let us know what the most important considerations are when processing financial transactions (e.g. processing invoices, running finance reports, budgeting).

These questions are the most important part of the application. We want you to answer the questions authentically and in a way that explains to us how you meet the person specification. If you haven't done exactly what we are asking for but think you have demonstrated the skills you'd need somewhere else in your life, mention that too.

    • Result (what was the result or consequence)
