Operations Manager West

The Opportunity

Regional Operations Team Leader for Avantor - responsible for coordinating operational management and business development of the Avantor Services team across multiple customer sites in Western Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational management and business development of the Avantor Services team.
• Oversee site services health & safety, training & compliance, and overall line management of on site teams.
• Ensure day to day performance of Material Handlers and Labs associates while maintaining quality standards.
• Set and review KPI metrics and ensure adherence to customer SLA's and service development.
• Lead a portfolio of strategic customer accounts and operational sites, building trusted relationships.
• Support tenders, contract renewals and business growth initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Advance new service offerings and solutions with continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in an operational, customer facing or service delivery environment.
• Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills.
• Experience managing KPIs and operational performance.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Ireland.
• Experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory Services, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Facilities Management, Retail, Hospitality or Logistics is advantageous.
