As Operations Manager, you'll play a dynamic and high-impact role leading global warehouse and logistics operations across multiple 3PL partners, where you'll drive the seamless flow of goods-from port to customer doorstep-while ensuring world-class delivery standards, including Amazon FBA and seller-fulfilled prime. You'll be at the heart of cross-functional collaboration, partnering with teams across freight, marketplace, and customer care to forecast demand, streamline operations, and elevate the end-to-end customer experience. As a key leader, you'll mentor a high-performing team, champion process improvements, and take charge of critical projects during peak seasons. Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Logistics Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple 3PL warehouses globally, ensuring seamless execution of all logistics functions.
- Manage receipt of inbound containers from port, timely outbound FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) shipments, and meeting OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) delivery standards for B2C orders, including Amazon seller-fulfilled prime.
- Lead stock reconciliation efforts, working closely with finance on inventory discrepancies and valuation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Forecasting
- Act as the primary escalation point for day-to-day operational issues related to warehousing, inbound/outbound shipments, and customer care.
- Collaborate with Freight, Marketplace, and Website teams to forecast inbound and outbound stock volumes accurately.
- Partner with Purchasing to forecast spare parts requirements for refurbishment processes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless and efficient customer journey.
Process Improvement & Project Leadership
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for warehousing, leading continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.
- Support rework operations, including regional transfers, returns handling, and compliance processes.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor a team of Operations Executives and Associates.
- Set clear objectives, define roles, and support professional development.
Special Projects & Business-Critical Support
- Lead seasonal initiatives such as peak trading periods, deal events, and quarterly business updates (e.g. Walmart).
- Address critical warehouse-related issues with serious business impact or deviations from business-as-usual (BAU) processes.
- Coordinate domestic and cross-border stock transfers, collections, and additional courier support when required.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Operations or Supply Chain Manager, ideally in an eCommerce environment.
- Strong understanding of 3PL warehouse operations, Amazon FBA, and B2C logistics.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and escalation management experience.
- Strong analytical skills with a background in forecasting, inventory management, and process improvement.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ERP and WMS systems is a plus.
