Job Description

Want to join one of the UK's fastest growing companies?

We're One Retail Group - a multi-national online retailer, brand owner, and marketplace specialist, recognised as one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK. Since launching our first product in 2013, we've grown into a multi-brand business selling thousands of products every day across global marketplaces and our own websites. And we're not slowing down - with new stores and product ranges launching regularly, there's never been a more exciting time to join us.

As Operations Manager, you'll play a dynamic and high-impact role leading global warehouse and logistics operations across multiple 3PL partners, where you'll drive the seamless flow of goods-from port to customer doorstep-while ensuring world-class delivery standards, including Amazon FBA and seller-fulfilled prime. You'll be at the heart of cross-functional collaboration, partnering with teams across freight, marketplace, and customer care to forecast demand, streamline operations, and elevate the end-to-end customer experience. As a key leader, you'll mentor a high-performing team, champion process improvements, and take charge of critical projects during peak seasons. If you thrive in a fast-paced eCommerce environment and love turning operational challenges into growth opportunities, this role offers the perfect platform to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple 3PL warehouses globally, ensuring seamless execution of all logistics functions.
  • Manage receipt of inbound containers from port, timely outbound FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) shipments, and meeting OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) delivery standards for B2C orders, including Amazon seller-fulfilled prime.
  • Lead stock reconciliation efforts, working closely with finance on inventory discrepancies and valuation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Forecasting

  • Act as the primary escalation point for day-to-day operational issues related to warehousing, inbound/outbound shipments, and customer care.
  • Collaborate with Freight, Marketplace, and Website teams to forecast inbound and outbound stock volumes accurately.
  • Partner with Purchasing to forecast spare parts requirements for refurbishment processes.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless and efficient customer journey.

Process Improvement & Project Leadership

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for warehousing, leading continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.
  • Support rework operations, including regional transfers, returns handling, and compliance processes.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor a team of Operations Executives and Associates.
  • Set clear objectives, define roles, and support professional development.

Special Projects & Business-Critical Support

  • Lead seasonal initiatives such as peak trading periods, deal events, and quarterly business updates (e.g. Walmart).
  • Address critical warehouse-related issues with serious business impact or deviations from business-as-usual (BAU) processes.
  • Coordinate domestic and cross-border stock transfers, collections, and additional courier support when required.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Operations or Supply Chain Manager, ideally in an eCommerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of 3PL warehouse operations, Amazon FBA, and B2C logistics.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and escalation management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with a background in forecasting, inventory management, and process improvement.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems is a plus.

Benefits

Apart from working with great people and enjoying a fast-paced, fun, diverse, collaborative, and supportive culture, you'll also receive:

  • 25 days of annual leave (plus UK Bank Holidays).
  • Employee discounts on all our brands
  • Access to our Cycle to Work scheme via CycleScheme
  • Quarterly team socials (recent events include a speedboat trip on the Thames, cocktail making, and roller disco)
