Location: Midlands (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + company car + benefits
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager with strong HVAC and Plumbing expertise to join a growing and dynamic team. This role offers responsibility for managing multiple mechanical projects across the UK and Ireland, delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the installation of HVAC systems, mechanical services, and hot & cold water installations for commercial and high-end projects.
- Oversee projects from conception to completion, including planning, resource allocation, subcontractor management, and material procurement.
- Attend and report on client site meetings, pre-start meetings, and project progress reviews.
- Produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Operation & Maintenance manuals.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to client specifications.
- Manage contract variations and support surveys, bid proposals, and negotiations.
- Allocate projects to junior Project Managers and monitor progress across multiple contracts (£5k - £1m).
- Act as a proactive member of the management team, improving company processes and efficiencies.
- Proven experience in HVAC, mechanical installations, and plumbing projects.
- Knowledge of industry legislation, standards, and major suppliers/equipment.
- Strong project management skills, with ability to manage teams, budgets, and schedules.
- ONC/HNC in Building Services (HVAC) preferred.
- Competent in CAD drawings, IT systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Health & Safety knowledge with CSCS card.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and teams.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Competitive salary £55,000 - £60,000 (negotiable based on experience).
