£70,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Location: Oxfordshire / Swindon Region

We're working with a well-established electrical contractor with 20 years of trading and an exciting growth trajectory. They're now looking to appoint an Operations Director to take the lead across all operational areas of the business.

This is a rare opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background to join the senior leadership team, shape the future of the business, and make a tangible impact across commercial delivery, operational performance, and company culture.

Strategic Operations

• Lead the operational delivery of electrical contracting projects across commercial and industrial sectors

• Develop and implement group-wide operational strategy focused on profitability, quality, and compliance

• Oversee pricing, tenders, contract negotiations, and margin protection

• Drive Health & Safety compliance and best working practices

• Identify opportunities for new business, contract expansion, and cross-selling between service lines

• Provide commercial and financial insight at board level

Leadership & People

• Collaborate with fellow directors to align strategic and operational goals

• Lead and develop teams across all operational functions

• Support recruitment and team building as required

• Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

• Proven track record in a senior leadership role within the electrical contracting industry

• Full electrical qualifications with a hands-on background in the trade

• Experience managing operational delivery across multiple projects or teams

• Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of JCT contracts, procurement, and reporting

• Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced SME environment

• Practical, problem-solving mindset with the ability to lead from the front

• Knowledge of fire and security systems is beneficial but not essential

• Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance + Performance Bonus

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

• Holiday: 30 days including Bank Holidays
