Operations Data Practise Manager
Location: Manchester
Role Type: Permanent
Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days in the office (Tuesday to Thursday)

What You'll Do

  • Support the implementation of data governance standards and practices across UKPI Operations.
  • Maintain data ownership, stewardship, definitions, inventories, lineage and governance records.
  • Develop and monitor data quality controls, reporting routines and performance metrics.
  • Investigate data quality issues and coordinate remediation with business and technology teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology and CDAO teams on data improvements.
  • Improve operational data for performance monitoring, risk management, regulatory reporting and decision-making.
  • Promote data literacy, governance compliance and continuous improvement across UKPI Operations.

What You Bring

  • Experience in data governance, data quality, reporting or data management within a regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, ownership models, lineage, metadata and controls.
  • Financial services experience, ideally in wealth, asset management, platform operations or retail investing.
  • Familiarity with Financial Crime, Consumer Duty, Operational Resilience and CASS requirements.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve data issues with business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with governance tools such as Collibra and working with analytics or Business Intelligence teams.
