We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team.

In this key role, you will support the Operations Manager, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our core school functions.

The role: As the Operations Coordinator, you will be the "engine room" of our school's operations.

No two days are the same; you will pivot between finance transactions, coordinating recruitment, overseeing health and safety records, and ensuring our school trips are perfectly planned.

There is an element of supervision within this role & at times may be required to guide staff on operational tasks and provide "hands-on" support to the administration team during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance: Processing transactions, managing parent payment systems (ParentPay), and supporting budget holders with reporting.
  • HR Coordination: Leading on recruitment administration, from placing adverts to managing the interview day experience.
  • Estates & Compliance: Maintaining H&S logs, conducting DSE assessments, and acting as the lead contact for Educational Visits.
  • Administration: Overseeing whole-school communications and ensuring GDPR compliance at an administrative level.
About you

As a problem-solver who thrives under pressure and enjoys managing multiple deadlines, you will:

  • Have at least three years of experience in an administrative function (experience in a school setting is a plus).
  • Hold five GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) including Maths and English.
  • Possess excellent ICT skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and spreadsheets.
  • Be able to handle "emotive" situations with calm, professional reassurance.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
