We are looking for an Operations & Network Development Supervisor for Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the franchise network operations and expanding the Mail Boxes Etc. brand across the Portuguese territory.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Operations:

  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise the operations of the regional franchise network. Coordinate with other departments to ensure operational integration and efficiency. Ensure the achievement of established goals and objectives.
  • Sales Management: Monitor and analyze store sales. Develop and implement sales strategies to reach commercial targets.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate periodic performance reports for the network. Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Franchise Network Monitoring: Provide ongoing monitoring, information, and support. Ensure compliance with company regulations and policies. Coordinate with various suppliers to ensure service level agreements are met by both parties.


Network Development:

  • New Franchisee Recruitment: Convert qualified leads into new franchisees by selling the Mail Boxes Etc. business model. Evaluate candidate's financial capacity, business experience, and alignment with company values.
  • Negotiation and Contract Support: Assist in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing franchise agreements. Adapt administrative documents and contracts based on the needs of each franchise, new center, transfer, or renewal.
  • Market Opportunity Identification: Research and evaluate new markets for the expansion of the franchise network.
  • Event Attendance: Represent Mail Boxes Etc. at trade fairs, industry events, and strategic meetings to build business relationships and close franchise contracts.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration (ADE), Finance, Marketing & Communication, Engineering, Economics, Business Sciences, International Trade, or similar.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of Logistics and Transportation is a plus.
  • Sector Experience: Experience in the Franchise sector is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and CRM software.
  • Soft Skills: Strategic and critical thinking; commercial skills and fast conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact professionally in a multicultural environment with a strong teamwork attitude.
  • Languages: Portuguese as first language & professional English. Spanish is a plus.
  • Residency: Must live in Lisbon or Porto.
  • Mobility: Availability to travel throughout the territory and occasionally to our headquarters in Barcelona.
