Nosy Crow is looking to recruit an organised and enthusiastic individual to join our busy team as an Operations and Facilities Assistant.
Nosy Crow is a multi-award winning, independent children's publishing company with operations in both the UK and the USA. We make child-focused, parent-friendly children's books for ages 0-12.
This is a full-time position and is an in-person Role based in our office near to London Bridge. 5 days per week to include approximately 6 hours per week study time.
The successful candidate will have the right to live and work in the UK.
Purpose of the Job:The role of the Operations and Facilities Assistant is to support the activities of the Operations team and to help ensure the smooth functioning of the office we work in. The Operations and Facilities Assistant will build relationships and work closely with colleagues from all areas of Nosy Crow and external suppliers.
Key responsibilities and tasks will range from supporting the Receptionist and Facilities Co-ordinator, provide cover for front of house (greeting visitors, answering phone calls, receiving post etc), ensuring that the meeting rooms are kept in a clean and tidy condition and help to prepare for large meetings, assisting with basic technical queries relating to our IT hardware, co-ordinating post and organise recycling and waste collections.
LibraryMaintaining the office master copy library and making sure that we have one copy of every title we've published and that it is kept in an organised and logical manner.
HRPerform general HR administration tasks such as ordering birthday chocolates and organising interviews and support the HR and Office Manager to plan and deliver our annual conference and festive parties.
OperationsAssist the Operations Director and other managers in the team with general admin, co-ordinating the distribution of our charity copies, monthly internal communication about our charity book giving and assisting with Biblio data entry.

The starting salary for this role is £22,400.
