Overview

Job Title: Operational Support Officer
Location: HMCTS Great Yarmouth - Fully Office-Based
Pay rate: £12.86 per hour
Working Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday (37 hours per week) Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM (45-minute lunch break) Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Contract Type: Temporary, with the possibility of extension

This is an opportunity to work within the Public Sector, supporting enforcement processes and ensuring cases are managed efficiently and accurately within the Fines and Enforcement Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Making outbound calls and responding to challenging or sensitive enquiries professionally
  • Processing a range of administrative tasks, including correspondence, write-offs, reports, and account checks
  • Reviewing, managing, and investigating enforcement cases
  • Maintaining accurate records using in-house systems
  • Completing data entry and updating case information
  • Following established procedures and ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Supporting the wider team with operational and administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive or challenging queries professionally
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to follow procedures carefully and work within a structured environment

Full in-house training will be provided.
