About The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Specialist (P4 / VP) to support the Second Line of Defense (2LOD) in the evolution of non-financial risk analytics capabilities to better identify early warning signals, connect cross-cutting risk themes, and deliver real-time insights to leadership. This role is critical to that evolution, driving the development of dynamic, near real-time analytics and translating complex risk signals into concise, decision-ready narratives for senior management. This is not a process-oriented role. It requires a deep understanding of how the business operates, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex data into compelling executive narratives. The individual will play a critical role in shaping how risk is identified, understood, and managed across the organization. Responsibilities
  1. Lead Development of Risk Analytics Reporting Design and deliver risk scorecard reports, providing consolidated views of operational risk and resiliency Define standardized metrics across risk, controls, resiliency, and performance Ensure outputs deliver clear, decision-ready insights
  2. Deliver Actionable Risk Intelligence Convert risk data (events, metrics, assessments, issues) into prioritized, actionable insights Identify cross-cutting and systemic risk themes impacting critical business services Support leadership by clearly articulating risk implications, trade-offs, and recommended actions
  3. Enable Near Real-Time Risk Analytics Develop dynamic dashboards and real-time analytical views aligned to leadership needs Drive automation of data sourcing and refresh cycles to reduce reliance on static reporting Support rapid response to emerging risks through on-demand analytics and insight generation Enable earlier identification and escalation of risk signals
  4. Leverage Data and AI for Advanced Insights Identify and implement opportunities to use advanced analytics and AI to enhance risk insight generation Apply techniques such as pattern detection, clustering, and thematic analysis across risk data sets Generate forward-looking insights to anticipate emerging risks Improve the speed, consistency, and quality of risk intelligence
  5. Provide Executive-Level Storytelling and Engagement Translate complex analytics into clear, concise narratives for senior leadership Participate directly in senior forums to provide real-time risk insight and challenge Anticipate leadership needs and tailor messaging accordingly Ensure consistency and clarity in risk communication across deliverables
  6. Partner Closely with Local Stakeholders Serve as a trusted analytics advisor to senior stakeholders Engage directly with local leadership and risk partners to understand business context Contribute to discussions "in the room" where decisions are made Build strong relationships to enhance influence and effectiveness
Skills/Experience
  • Extensive experience in risk management within a financial institution
  • Strong background in risk analytics, data analysis, or quantitative disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to connect analytics to business and risk outcomes
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
  • Deep understanding of operational risk and financial services environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, executive-level insights
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Proven ability to build new capabilities and innovate
