Job Description

Operational Finance Specialist

Dornan Engineering Group is aleading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Cork, this is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Operational Finance Specialist, reporting to the Operational Finance Manager, the Specialist will play an important and varied role within the department and will cross over a number of areas such as Property Management, Account Receivable, Employee Expense Reimbursements, Credit Card Transactions, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations.

Your day to day will include:

  • Processinggroupcredit card transactionsand reconciliation of credit card statements.

  • Processing ofEmployee expenses forreimbursement.

  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.

  • Dealing with companystaffaccommodations and associated lease payments and utility bills.

  • Weekly Bank Reconciliations.

  • Company Vehicles-maintainup to date log of motor vehicles for tax, insurance(dealing with queries in relation to same),NCT, Driver information, Fuelcardsand monthly depreciation charges.

About You:

  • 3yearspreviousfinanceexperiencein a large companyusing computerised systems.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be an advantage.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, challenging environment.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management with an ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication& teamskillsand problem solving.
