We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Coach with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry to support a major manufacturing transition.
Following formal Lean training programmes, this role is critical in bridging the gap between classroom theory and factory-floor practice. You will work directly with individuals and cross-functional teams to embed Lean methodologies, drive continuous improvement, and ensure tangible implementation of their learning in a live manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoaching & Mentoring: Guide and support delegates post-training, helping them apply Lean tools and techniques effectively within their daily workflows.
Shopfloor Engagement: Partner with teams across manufacturing facilities to cultivate a sustainable culture of operational excellence.
Multi-Level Credibility: Engage confidently and credibly with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, from shopfloor operatives to senior leadership.
Practical Implementation: Ensure standardisation, waste reduction, and process improvements are successfully Embedded and measured.
Requirements
Proven experience working as an Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Lean Coach.
Deep domain experience within the pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing sector.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
Flexibility to travel to facilities in the Republic of Ireland (travel and accommodation expenses covered separately).
Contract Details
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Daily Rate: £500 - £550 per day
Start Date: Week commencing 19th October
End Date: Week commencing 22nd March
Workload: part time (averaging ~3+ days per week, totaling approximately 67 days)
