We are hiring.

Burmester & Stüve Navegação S.A., part of Pérez y Cía Group is looking for an Operational Assistant to join our Shipping Agency team in Leixões / Porto.

If you are looking for a hands-on role in a real port environment, working directly with vessels, terminals and international principals, this could be the right opportunity for you.

What you will do:

• Support the coordination of port call operations with shipowners, masters, terminals, port authorities and suppliers
• Prepare, manage and close vessel calls using the JUL system
• Assist with husbandry services including crew assistance, deliveries and logistics coordination
• Prepare disbursement accounts and operational documentation
• Register operational data and support internal reporting

What we are looking for:

• Degree QNQ Level 6 or above in Logistics, Maritime Studies, International Business or similar
• Fluent Portuguese and strong English. Spanish is a plus
• Good command of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced operational setting
• Based in the Porto metropolitan area
