Job Description

LONDON - TWICE A WEEK

£450 PER DAY INSIDE IR35

6 months MINIMUM

Openlink Credit and Risk product specialist/s to support the Bank's planned transformation of its credit and risk Implementation in Openlink

Duration - We expect will need the individual for around two months for the initial prototyping and design work, though we believe there would be plenty of opportunities to extend beyond that on the credit/risk work itself, as well as the wider backlog of Openlink change

Skills - We're looking for expertise in credit and risk modules, JVS Scripting (as we aim to use core scripts but probably with some customisation), and ideally Report Builder and Triangle skills. This need not all come from one specialist.

Openlink Required:

Working knowledge and understanding of JVS Scripting and C#

Familiar with data modelling concepts or an interest and willingness to learn

Experience of tools supporting the development and version control process, eg Git and Jira

Experience of Agile Methodologies and frameworks

Have the ability to communicate clearly and form relationships with business users and technology colleagues

A dedication to continuously learn new skills and apply this in relation to design, development, test and support activities

A team member who takes pride in the quality of work they deliver and their contributions Working knowledge of credit and risk modules within Openlink.

Preferred skills:

Minimum 2 years experience of Findur, including v23 upwards, is preferred

In-depth knowledge of JVS Scripting/C# and .NET frameworks

In-depth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)

Clear understanding of the software development life cycle

Knowledge of financial instruments and their underlying characteristics

Business and systems analysis skills

Relational databases - preferably Oracle

Reporting packages such as Crystal Reports

Play a key role in the entire life cycle of the project from inception to support

Building and operating a continuous integration (CI) capability when required employing version control of source code and related artefacts

Ensuring security and privacy requirements are an essential part of systems integration and build

Testing, validation and sign off of integration to satisfy requirements, architectures and design

Continually test your programs, correct errors to maximise quality

Take ownership in reviewing work as well as participating in colleague reviews
