Online Diagnostic Technician

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience (between £42,000-£45,000) rising to £55,000. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am - 5:15 pm (42.5 hrs) - NO WEEKENDS

Are you a master tech who is looking to move off the tools and transfer your skills to a family owned business that looks after its staff? This company primarily provides an automotive virtual diagnostic & programming service to a customer base across Europe. On a day to day basis you would carry out in depth diagnosis, module programming, key programming and stay up to date with the latest procedures while being passionate about future technology and the motor trade.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using the company's diagnostic tools through our remote diagnostic portal
• Provide technical support and repair advice to customers and their technicians via chat, mail, or phone
• Interpret diagnostic codes and data, and recommend corrective actions to ensure a fix on the first contact
• Maintain equipment and software updates, and continuously learn new techniques and tools
• Work collaboratively with team members, sharing insights and best practices
• Maintain accurate records of diagnostic procedures and outcomes
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service quality

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent - highly preferred
• Diagnostic Technicians / Master Technicians from various brands highly advantageous
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electronics, and electrical components of vehicles
• Proficient in using automotive diagnostic software and equipment
• Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a real team player with a solution oriented approach
