On-Prem DevOps Engineer

Location: Zurich, Switzerland (3 days onsite per week)

The Opportunity:
Join a long-standing digital transformation initiative supporting a large Bank via a leading consultancy. This role sits within a team that provides critical DevOps support across multiple value stream applications that gather, analyze, and publish Swiss economic data.
You will play a pivotal role in enabling development teams, modernizing deployment and monitoring pipelines, and maintaining robust platform infrastructure in a regulated, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, Artifactory)
• Automate release and deployment workflows across multiple environments
• Support development teams with platform services, standards, and guidelines
• Integrate monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, etc.)
• Contribute to platform modernization efforts and Legacy system replacement
• Assist in containerization and infrastructure provisioning

Must-Have Skills:

• Expertise in:
  
  • Ansible
  • Jenkins infrastructure and build pipelines
• Intermediate in:
  
  • Containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • NGINX
• Familiarity with:
  
  • SpringBoot, J2EE, IntelliJ, Chocolatey
• Scripting/Automation experience with Terraform, Groovy, Bash, Python
• Strong understanding of networking and on-prem/cloud hybrid systems
• Proven experience in regulated industries (finance or public sector)
