Office Manager
Contract - Permanent
Working hours - Monday to Friday 8am-5pm or 8.30am-5.30pm
Salary - £35,000 to £40,000 (negotiable dependant on experience)
My client is looking for an experienced, organised and proactive Office Manager to join our team in Lisburn.
As they continue to grow, they are looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day running of the office, keeping things organised behind the scenes and provide reliable support across the business.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days will be exactly the same.
The Role
You'll play a key part in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly, working closely with management and supporting our sales, service and trade counter teams.
Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing general office administration and day-to-day office operations
Managing incoming calls, emails and customer enquiries
Liaising with suppliers, customers, couriers and other service providers
Maintaining accurate records, filing systems and databases
Assisting with scheduling and coordination across our sales and service teams
Supporting basic HR administration, including onboarding, holidays and employee records
Assisting management with reports, paperwork and general administrative duties
Helping identify and improve office procedures and systems where required
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who is organised, dependable and comfortable taking responsibility for their own workload.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience in an office management, senior administration or similar role
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience with accounting, invoicing or business management software
Previous experience with Sage would be a distinct advantage
Good attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving
A proactive, can-do attitude
Experience within a trade, engineering, industrial or wholesale environment would be useful, but is not essential.
