The Role:

Whitchurch Primary School, part of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised Office Manager to join our friendly and committed team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Headteacher, leadership team, staff,pupilsand families, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the schoolon a daily basis.

The Office Manager will lead the day-to-day administration of the school, overseeing administrative and financial processes, maintaining key systems and records, supporting safeguarding and compliance requirements, coordinating admissions and attendance processes, and providing a welcoming and professional service to pupils, families, staff and visitors.

This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

We are looking forsomeone who:

  • Ideally has previous experience working within a school office or educational setting
  • Is highly organised,methodicaland able to work effectively in a busy environment with frequent interruptions
  • Has significant experience working in an administrative or office based role and can confidently manage a wide range of responsibilities
  • Can build andmaintainpositive relationships with pupils, parents, staff,governorsand external partners
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Can work with accuracy, attention to detail and complete confidentialityat all times
  • Has strong IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Office and school management systems
  • Can manage sensitive information appropriately and exercise sound judgement
  • Will actively contribute to the positive culture and values of both the school and the Lighthouse Schools Partnership
