Position OverviewWells Spa Plumbing and Heating is a forward thinking business with ambitious growth plans, seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to be the central hub of our organisation's administrative operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong administrative capabilities, with a key focus on team coordination, documentation management, and operational support. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and a talent for maintaining smooth administrative workflows. The successful Office Manager will be instrumental in ensuring our office runs efficiently while supporting staff and enhancing overall productivity.

- Supervise daily office operations and manage administrative tasks to ensure maximum efficiency
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including financial reporting using QuickBooks and Commusoft
- Provide exceptional telephone manner when handling enquiries from clients and suppliers
- Assist in developing office policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness
- Support clerical duties including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
- Organise and manage renewals for insurance policies and contract extensions
- Coordinate team scheduling and support human resources functions
- Ensure smooth communication across all levels of the organisation
- Minimum 3 5 years of administrative or office management experience
- Understanding of the plumbing and heating industry would be a strong advantage
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- High level proficiency in QuickBooks & Commusoft would be ideal
- Proven experience in team leadership and supporting human resources functions
- Proven capability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic work environment
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high professional standards
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting
- Full time position (Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00)
- Office role based in Eridge (just outside of Tunbridge Wells)
- Potential for occasional overtime
Pay: £35,000.00 £40,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate: Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
