Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely. We are currently seeking an Office Manager to join our Workplace Experience (WX) team in Manchester.
What your team doesThis role reports directly to the Workplace Experience Manager and is part of Clio's global Workplace Experience (WX) team. The WX team partners closely across the business to manage office operations, design thoughtful workplace solutions, and deliver consistent, high-quality employee experience across our global hubs. The WX Team supports employee events and People programs, working with our People, IT, Security, and other cross-functional partners to ensure our offices are welcoming, functional, and aligned with Clio's culture.
Who you areYou are a self-directed, highly organised Office Manager who thrives in autonomy and takes pride in running an office end-to-end. You are comfortable being the sole on-site WX representative in Manchester and enjoy owning day-to-day operations and employee experience moments. You are also confident supporting a secondary, smaller office remotely, providing structure, consistency, and oversight without being physically present every day. This role suits someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who builds strong relationships, creates calm through systems, and acts as a trusted local point of contact.
What you'll work onManchester Office (Primary Responsibility)
- Independently manage all day-to-day operations of the Manchester office
- Own site operations including facilities issues, deficiencies, repairs, and vendor coordination
- Manage front-of-house operations and ensure global WX standards are upheld
- Ensure the office is consistently well-stocked, clean, safe, and welcoming
- Oversee physical security, site access, and coordination with IT/Security partners
- Serve on the Health & Safety Committee as the Employer Representative and support investigations as required
- Plan, coordinate, communicate, and host internal events such as monthly mixers, team socials, and company meetings
- Support workplace renovations, expansions, or changes as needed
- Track office-related spend and support monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reviews
London Office (Remote Support)
- Provide remote operational oversight for Clio's London office
- Partner with local stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Ensure consistency with global WX standards
- Support light event planning, office initiatives, and issue escalation as needed
- Act as a connector between London and the broader WX Team
Across both locations
- Build strong relationships with internal partners and cross-functional teams
- Own and manage key vendor relationships
- Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of workplace programs and recommend improvements
- Continuously improve processes to deliver high-impact employee and guest experiences
- Support additional WX projects as required
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- High comfort level managing ambiguity and adapting priorities as needs change
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across teams and locations
- A genuine passion for creating thoughtful, engaging workplace experiences
- Comfort working with modern workplace tools and technology
- Demonstrate interest in elevating your craft using AI

The expected salary range for this role is £50,400 to £63,000 to £75,600 GBP. There are separate salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. The final offer amount will depend on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
