What you'll do

The Legal team supports the Octopus Energy Generation business across a wide range of legal and commercial matters, including contracts, transactions, and corporate governance. Working closely with stakeholders across the company, the team ensures that legal processes are well structured, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. The team is collaborative, fast paced and solutions driven, providing critical support on a variety of high impact projects.

What you'll have

As a Legal Intern, you will gain hands on experience working with a dynamic in house legal team. You will assist with contract management, transactional work and corporate governance processes, while developing key skills in document review, stakeholder communication and legal project support. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, proactive and eager to learn about legal operations in the commercial renewable sector.

  • The ability to summarise complex information in a clear and digestible way
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • No law degree required, but prior legal experience (internships, coursework or administrative roles) is beneficial
