South Region (Orpington, Epsom, Horsham, Godstone & Ashford)

Location: South Region with regular travel across multiple sites

Salary: £55,500 - £66,700 per annum (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience)

Hours: Full Time

Hybrid Working: 4 days clinic/office based, 1 day remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a growing in-house Occupational Health & Wellbeing team supporting employees across the South of England.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will play a key part in delivering a high-quality Occupational Health service, helping to promote employee wellbeing, support attendance, and ensure compliance with occupational health legislation and best practice.

Working alongside Occupational Health Technicians and Wellbeing specialists, you will provide professional advice and guidance to managers, HR teams, and employees while supporting the continued development of Occupational Health services.

Regular travel across the region will be required, with occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive health surveillance programme across multiple sites.
• Provide expert Occupational Health advice on employee health and wellbeing matters.
• Conduct case management assessments and produce evidence-based reports.
• Carry out fitness-for-work assessments, face fit testing and health surveillance activities.
• Support the development and implementation of Occupational Health policies and procedures.
• Manage workloads effectively and support Occupational Health Technicians.
• Monitor trends and provide management information to support service improvements.
• Refer employees to appropriate interventions, support services and wellbeing initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with HR, operational teams and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of Occupational Health services.

Essential Requirements

NMC Registration (Part 3 of the Register)

Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Occupational Health Qualification

Experience in Occupational Health case management and health surveillance

Good understanding of UK Occupational Health legislation, HSE guidance and industry best practice

Strong communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills

Experience using Occupational Health systems and managing clinical data

Full UK Manual Driving Licence

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Accredited Tier 3 HAVS qualification
• Experience delivering occupational health services across multiple sites
• Experience working within a large or complex organisation
• Ability to analyse trends and deliver data-driven recommendations
