Obstetrics & Gynecology Registrar - Fast-Paced, Collaborative Care

Our client invites applications for the position of Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Health Service Executive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients within the Obstetrics & Gynaecology service under consultant supervision
• Participate in antenatal, labour ward, gynaecology, emergency and outpatient services
• Contribute to on-call rota and emergency cover
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in clinical audit, teaching, research and quality improvement initiatives
• Work collaboratively with consultants, midwives, nurses and allied healthcare professionals

Applicants must have:

• Full registration or eligibility for registration with the Irish Medical Council
• Relevant postgraduate clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Desirable:

• Membership of the Royal College of Physicians or equivalent postgraduate qualification
• Previous experience within the Irish healthcare system
