Job Description
Position Overview

Team Leader (room-based) - 0-1 year olds at Berryfields Day Nursery, Aylesbury (HP18 1BB). Permanent position, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Employment Conditions
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, varied shifts Monday-Friday between 07:30-18:30
  • Salary: £33,150.20-£36,836.80 per annum (pro rata) - £15.94-£17.71 per hour
  • Location: Berryfields Day Nursery, Aylesbury, HP18 1BB
Responsibilities
  • Act as a Key Person within the EYFS framework, planning and implementing high quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play.
  • Observe, assess and record children's progress.
  • Ensure every child feels safe, valued and happy, promoting their well being.
  • Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively and foster strong relationships to empower the team to deliver outstanding care.
Qualifications
  • DfE approved early years qualification at Level3 or above.
  • Minimum of two years working experience in an early years environment.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS and ability to apply it as a Key Person.
  • Strong safeguarding awareness and practice.
  • Collaborative leadership skills and the ability to empower a team.
