Nursery Teacher - Part-Time Opportunity (2.5 Days per Week)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Scunthorpe on a part-time basis (2.5 days per week). This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for an enthusiastic early year's specialist to make a positive impact during the start of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for nursery-aged children
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Support the early identification of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and work collaboratively with staff to implement appropriate strategies
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working within a primary school nursery setting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
- Demonstrated ability in the early identification and support of SEN
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for early years development and child-centred learning
