Compensation: £30,118 - £33,738 / year

As a Room Manager, you will lead a team of expert educators in one of our nursery family rooms, driving innovative teaching, supporting colleagues, and ensuring high quality care for every child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive as a team.
  • Lead our 'learning through play' ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
  • Be a role model for outstanding care and education, inspiring the team to bring their best each day.
  • Champion continuous improvement, keeping practice fresh and creative.
  • Shape the daily routine, ensuring smooth transitions from mealtimes to nap times to playtimes.
  • Support the team to plan, observe, and deliver high quality learning experiences tailored to each child.
  • Coach, guide, and motivate through regular feedback and professional development.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and keep them involved in their children's learning.
  • Embed and role model safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing standards across the room.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (e.g., Room Leader, Third in Charge, nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, or early years educator).
  • For Baby Room Managers, experience with children under 2.
  • Experience leading and coaching a team.
  • A background in consistent and exceptional customer service.
  • A full Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
  • Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and commitment to remain compliant.
  • Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and willingness to update training regularly.
  • A genuine passion for education and improving children's lives.
  • A positive, can do outlook.
  • Strong drive and motivation with a make it happen attitude.
  • Solid decision making ability to support and achieve Wildly Important Goals.
