Location: Hertford Barns Day Nursery, Cole Green, Hertford, SG14 2NL.
Contract: Permanent - 25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Working pattern: 10 00, Monday Friday.
Salary: £12.87 £15.59 per hour.
Responsibilities- Care for babies and children aged five and under, supporting their development.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Contribute to observations and learning journeys.
- Ensure effective safeguarding, keeping children safe, valued, and happy.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and children and communicate positively.
- Experience caring for babies and children up to five years old, ideally in an early years setting.
- DFE-approved early years qualification at Level 2 or above is advantageous, though not essential.
- Knowledge of child development and EYFS principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding.
