Brook Infant School and Nursery is a two-form entry Infant School with a private Nursery attached, located in Maidenbower. We also provide Breakfast and Afterschool club to local schools. Our modern building opened in 1999. We have a Woodlands area where we teach forest schools to all the children.

Nursery Practitioner - Brook NurseryWe are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner on a fixed-term contract starting in September 2025. The position is a 34 hour week, Monday - Friday, 07:30 to 18:00 during term time. Working hours: 08:15 - 15:15 per day, five days, with a 30 minute lunch, plus a one hour meeting on Monday and 30 minutes of paperwork. The contract runs from 3rd September 2025 to 22nd July 2026, with the possibility of continuation into the next academic year depending on pupil numbers.
In this role you will work alongside the Nursery team to deliver excellent care for the children and support their learning and development.
What You Need to Succeed- NVQL 3 or equivalent in childcare (NVQL 2 considered).
- Experience working in an Early Years setting.
- Passion for working with young children and ensuring each child succeeds.
- Highly motivated, flexible and a team player.
- Creative, can make learning come alive and has a "can do" attitude.

Grade 4, Point 5 to 6 (£25,583 to £25,989 pro rata) plus Crawley Weighting. Approx £13.26 per hour plus Crawley Weighting.
