Do you love working with young children and want to make a real difference every day?

We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our friendly team at The College Nursery, Peterborough College. This is a rewarding opportunity to help create a safe, happy, and stimulating environment where children aged 0-5 can learn, grow, and thrive.

If you're passionate about Early Years and enjoy being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

As a Nursery Nurse, you'll play an important part in supporting children's development across all areas. Working as part of a dedicated room team, you'll help deliver high-quality care and learning experiences, supporting children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth.

You'll act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families, and helping to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported. From planning fun and engaging activities to supporting daily routines, no two days will be the same.

What you'll bring
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5, including those with additional needs
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • A positive, enthusiastic approach and a genuine passion for working with children
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A 36-hour working week across 38 weeks per year, supporting a healthy work-life balance
  • A friendly, supportive nursery environment where you'll feel part of the team
  • Opportunities for training, development, and career progression
  • The chance to make a meaningful difference in children's lives every day

If you're someone who brings energy, care, and enthusiasm to your work, we'd love you to join us and help give our children the best possible start in life.
