Role Details

• Location: Nursery on the Green Day Nursery, Redbourn, AL3 7NB
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 20 hours/week
• Schedule: Varied shifts Wednesday Friday between 07 30
• Salary: £25,096.50 per annum (pro rata) £12.87 per hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness as a professional Housekeeper or Cleaner.
• Re stock supplies in bathrooms and kitchens; empty bins; sweep and mop floors.
• Engage in high level dusting and support the kitchen team with washing up.
• Take care of laundry duties where required.
• Ensure a safe environment by applying COSHH knowledge and using initiative.
• Advocate for safeguarding, ensuring the well being of every child and adult within the nursery.
• Collaborate with team members, building supportive and respectful relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience working as a professional Housekeeper or Cleaner.
• Knowledge of COSHH principles.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Applicants must currently reside within a commutable distance of the nursery and hold suitable Right to Work in the UK; VISA sponsorship is not available.
