Nursery Chef

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £13 - 14 per hour

Have you got previous experience working in a kitchen environment?

TeacherActive are incredibly pleased to be working with a fantastic Nursery located within Leeds. The nursery prides itself on providing fantastic care for the children and family they work with. This all starts in the kitchen! Good food is the foundation for healthy growth and Nursery Cooks are instrumental in providing this aspect of care!

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Chef who can contribute to the high level of care the nursery provides by using their skills to make well thought out and planned meals for the children in their care! The successful Nursery Chef will work with the staff team to plan, organise and serve meals to the children in their care, and will be passionate about creating healthy and nutritious meals suitable for children aged 5 and under.

The successful Nursery Chef will:

• Hold a level 2 (required) or 3 (preferred) food safety and hygiene certificate.
• Have experience working as a cook in a kitchen environment
• Have experience with the EHO Investigation process
• Be able to build and implement an allergen matrix with the core 14 allergens
