Job Description
The Lavigny Institution Hospital is one of the reference centers in the Romandy region for patients with brain injuries requiring neurological care, or suffering from difficult epilepsy. Since July 1st, the University Service of Neurology (SUN) has been a structure connecting two institutions, CHUV and the Lavigny Hospital, with 75 beds and nearly 200 employees. SUN provides highly specialized and interdisciplinary care for 500 hospitalized patients per year. The arrival of the new cantonal Patient Information File (DPI) presents a challenge; in this context, we are looking for a nurse assuming a role as a clinician in neurology, combining clinical experience, understanding of care processes, and numerical skills. This position is aimed at a healthcare professional wishing to play a pivotal role between clinical care and systems with a strong field grounding. We offer you the opportunity to discover exciting work at the heart of interdisciplinarity, in a context with patients and their families.To complement our team, we are looking for: Nurse with clinical experience related to neurology: - Organize and provide nursing care consistent with the clinical pathway of the neurological patient, in collaboration with the entire interdisciplinary team, and in partnership with the hospitalized individual and their relatives.- Integrate the objectives of the patient into daily care.- Carry out medical acts typically delegated to nursing staff upon medical prescription.- Inform, guide, and provide information to patients and their entourage.- Foster and participate in health promotion measures in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.- Participate in the training and development of colleagues, nursing students, interns, apprentices, and auxiliary staff.Missions related to project management and DPI deployment: - Assume a role as a referring clinician closely linked with clinical teams, the Department of Health Systems, and external partners.- Actively participate in the implementation, development, and ongoing improvement of the Patient Information File (DPI), ensuring alignment with clinical practices and care processes.- Act as a liaison between clinical teams and project teams, collecting, analyzing, and prioritizing business needs related to the DPI.- Support healthcare professionals in adapting to changes induced by digital transformations, through coaching and on-site support actions.- Contribute to the quality, reliability, and consistency of clinical data documented in the DPI, to support management, continuity, and safety of care.- Participate in the design and development of care processes, from the conceptual phase to their deployment in the field.- Collaborate in the evolution of digital tools (workflows, prescription and clinical follow-up devices), in a logic of benefits.You are required to have:- A degree in Nursing (HES) or general nursing, or an equivalent qualification.- A strong interest in clinical care, digital systems, and care processes.- Additional qualifications in medical, project management, legal, or related fields (CAS/MAS) constitute a real asset.- Experience in neurology and an interest in training in this field.- Good capacity for analysis and a sense of responsibility.- Minimum English level B2.- Ability to analyze, sense of organization, and structured approach to complex issues.- Interest in change management, adult education, and support for nursing professionals.We offer: - A hybrid position that allows you to combine clinical work, academic responsibilities, and care processes. - The possibility to discover exciting work within an institution known for the quality and diversity of its opportunities for training and development.- Opportunities to participate in quality improvement projects.- A salary in line with the role, according to the guidelines of the Vaud parapublic health sector CCT.- Social benefits from a large institution, cafeteria with preferential prices, parking, public transport services, etc. For information and applications: Mr. X, Director of CNIO, write an email for the CNIO part; Mrs. X, Head of Care Pole, write an email for the clinical part.
