It provides a flexible working environment that favors the balance between professional and private life and conditions that encourage skill development as well as the sharing of knowledge and experiences.Job DescriptionIn collaboration with the Oncology Department of HUG and with the aim of improving the management and home care of cancer patients, IMAD is creating a pilot project for the development of a home care system specialized in adult oncology, based on a shared clinical pathway between IMAD and HUG to improve the continuity of care and home management for individuals undergoing cancer treatment at HUG. The established team will engage in a wide variety of complex activities addressing the clinical, social, psychological, and environmental aspects of the client. The EISO team will also be responsible for fostering close ties with the specific oncology network in Geneva (e.g., the Oncology Department of HUG, the League Against Cancer, OTIUM).Your Missions and Responsibilities- Respond effectively to specific care needs of the EISO team by autonomously providing technically complex nursing care at home for adult oncology patients, typically delivered in a hospital setting.- Deliver comprehensive personalized care to adult oncology patients within a holistic vision, taking into account their direct and social environment and psychological constraints. Assess needs such as dietary or occupational therapy.- Act as a reference role and act in accordance with the principles of the nursing code of ethics.- Participate in the institutional mission aimed at promoting home care in a stimulating environment for our clients by developing interprofessional collaborations with the various teams integrated into the project.- Develop connections and interactions with actors in the specific oncology network in Geneva (e.g., the Oncology Department of HUG, the League Against Cancer, in nursing care).Minimum Requirements:- A confirmed interest in oncology.- At least 1 year of professional experience in home care.- Dexterity in technical care.- Flexibility and responsiveness.- Strong ability to manage stress and a sense of responsibility.- Knowledge of the Geneva network specific to oncology would be a plus.- Ability to work autonomously as well as in an interdisciplinary and interprofessional team.- Mobility is essential (bike/car).What We OfferAt IMAD, we believe that well-being is essential.
