NQ Litigation Solicitor

A well-established Legal 500 firm covering the London/Surrey area is seeking a Junior Litigation Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to join its expanding Dispute Resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified or early-career Solicitor looking to develop their skills and experience within a supportive, forward-thinking environment. You will be joining a small, collaborative team where you'll gain hands on exposure across a wide range of contentious matters and work directly with senior solicitors.

The Role

The successful candidate will assist in managing a varied caseload across:

• Property litigation, including landlord and tenant matters
• Debt recovery
• Non contentious employment law
• Contentious probate
• General commercial disputes

There will also be opportunities to gain experience in corporate and commercial law and statutory lease extensions, working closely with the Head of Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with a range of litigation and dispute resolution cases.
• Conduct legal research, prepare court documents, and draft correspondence.
• Support senior solicitors in case preparation, client meetings, and hearings.
• Liaise directly with clients, assessing risks, costs, and potential outcomes.
• Contribute to case strategy and work collaboratively to achieve client goals.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) or equivalent experience in litigation/dispute resolution.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proactive and commercially minded, with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident handling client relationships and working collaboratively as part of a team.
• Genuine interest in developing a long term career within dispute resolution.
