Non-Life Actuarial Manager / Senior Manager

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is currently seeking aNon-Life Actuarial Manager / Senior Managerto join its growing actuarial advisory team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced actuary to take on a leadership role within a high-performing team, delivering a wide range of advisory services to (re)insurance clients across the Irish market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a broad range of actuarial advisory projects, including reserving, capital modelling, risk management, and financial/regulatory reporting (including Solvency II and IFRS 17)
• Support multidisciplinary engagements such as M&A, due diligence, ESG, and enterprise risk management initiatives
• Contribute to actuarial function activities, including reserving reviews and Head of Actuarial Function support
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery
• Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members, while supporting recruitment and business development activities

Requirements

• Qualified actuary (IFoA, Society of Actuaries or equivalent) with strong Non-Life (re)insurance experience
• Good understanding of the Irish (re)insurance market, with the ability to apply actuarial knowledge commercially
• Proven experience managing teams, projects, and senior stakeholders
• Experience in risk management and/or financial reporting, particularly Solvency II and/or IFRS 17
• Consulting or audit experience and/or an established market network would be advantageous
