Location: Westbury, Warminster, Frome and surrounding areas.

Do you enjoy being outdoors and travelling between farms while supporting the dairy industry? NMR (National Milk Records) offers you the freedom to work across the beautiful countryside, visiting farms and collecting individual cow milk samples throughout the year.

As a self employed Milk Sampler, you'll visit farms to collect milk samples from individual cows over a whole milking. These samples are crucial for NMR to deliver detailed reports, empowering farmers to make informed decisions that keep their herds healthy and their businesses thriving.

What you will be doing

• Visiting dairy farms to collect milk samples
• Organising sample pots in a numerical order to be sent to the lab
• Working directly with farmers and dairy herds
• Following farm bio security procedures
• Travelling between farms within the area

Self employed role

As a self employed contractor, you'll have the autonomy to manage your work independently. Payment for this role is based on herd size, calculated on a per cow basis, and we'll discuss the details before you're allocated to a farm/s.
