Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help our difference be felt by our customers on every visit, providing the Partner led service and passion for food that our competitors can't compete with. Your drive to go the extra mile will make all the difference to the impression our customers have about the Waitrose brand and keep them returning again and again, earning their trust and loyalty for a lifetime.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves remain full and products are in the right place at the right time.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver them directly to customers.
• Reducing wastage by following due diligence and marking down products approaching sell by dates.
• Supporting the wider shop team when needed, including checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, fulfilling on demand customer orders and more.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shop keeping tasks.

Essential skills / experience

• Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.

Desirable skills / experience

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to support the entire branch.

• Pay: £13.00 (£13.25 after 90 days)
• Contract type: Temporary
• Hours of work: Varied full time hours across seven nights between 21:00-08:00.
• Location: StratfordUponAvon, The Rosebird Centre, CV378LU.
• Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 years or over.
• Night premium: any time worked 22:00-06:00 attracts £3.75 per hour.
