Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

As a Supermarket Assistant, you will help our difference be felt by customers on every visit, providing partner led service and passion for food that our competitors cannot match. The role includes a variety of shop keeping tasks to keep the operation running efficiently and productively.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - keep shelves full and products in the right place at the right time.
• Fulfil online customer orders for delivery.
• Reduce wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns for items nearing sell by dates.
• Support the wider shop team - checkout support, Click & Collect orders, on demand orders, and more.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shop keeping tasks.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and the team.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to support the entire branch.

Job Details

• Pay: £13.00 (£13.25 after 90 days)
• Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00.
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Hours of Work: Part time night work of 15 hours per week across 2 days (including Friday and weekends) between 22:00 and 06:00.
• Job Level: Partnership Level 10
• Location: Saffron Walden (Waitrose & Partners), Hill Street, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB10 1EH
