As a Night Porter, you're thequiet strength that keeps everything running smoothly while the world sleeps.You're the first line of support for guests arriving late, the eyes and earsof the hotel, and the one who ensures every detail is in place for themorning. While most are winding down, you're ramping up to provide top-notchservice, security, and efficiency.
Qualifications- Afriendly, approachable presence that ensures guests feel at ease aroundthe clock
- Dependabilityand punctuality, with the ability to collaborate effectively overnightalongside a colleague
- Excellentcommunication skills and a professional attitude when engaging withguests or team members
- Previousexperience in a guest-facing role is desirable
- Assistwith the Night Audit, ensuring all reports and records are accurate andup to date
- Handlesecurity and emergency procedures like a pro, ensuring guest and staffsafety at all times
- Providea clear and detailed handover to the early staff/Duty Manager, keepingoperations smooth
- ConductHealth & Safety checks and Night Walks, ensuring everything is intop shape
- Assistwith the setup and preparation of the breakfast service to deliver aseamless guest experience
- Carryout cleaning tasks in all hotel public areas to maintain high hygieneand presentation standards for the day ahead
- Ensurethe meeting rooms are set up to the required standards for forthcomingfunctions.
- Handleroom service orders such as sandwiches or bar drinks for in house guestsduring the night.
