Location Responsibilities

The Night Porter is instrumental in overseeing the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise. This is a hands on role managing the guest expectations and ensuring the standards of the brand are maintained.

As guests sleep sound in their beds, the Nights team keep everything running like clockwork. The role involves taking responsibility for the Food & Beverage Department, welcoming guests in a friendly and helpful manner, ensuring that public areas are kept immaculate, cleaning public areas and preparing meeting and event spaces ready for the next day.

Assisting guests with luggage, dealing with enquiries, carrying out nightly Health and Safety audits. Organised and excellent communicator.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a similar role is beneficial.
• Experience of night shift work is essential.

Working Hours

Open 7 days a week 365 days a year. Need people to work a range of shifts and days. Flexibility can be offered. Busier during evenings and weekends. Shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed at interview.

Training & Progression

Offer nationally recognized apprenticeships and detailed brand training. Successful candidates can progress to Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
