We are currently seeking a Night Porter - Supervisor to join our Front of House team and take responsibility for the smooth running of the hotel overnight.
The RoleThis is a key overnight position where you will combine supervisory responsibilities with hands on operational duties. You will ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests while maintaining high standards across all areas of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel during night shifts
- Supervising night porters and support Front of House operations
- Carrying out guest check ins and check outs, including late arrivals and early departures
- Delivering excellent customer service and handle guest queries or issues promptly
- Conducting regular security checks, fire walks, and ensuring full health & safety compliance
- Ensuring the hotel is secure, including locking doors and checking lighting and fire exits
- Providing room service and bar service during the night
- Preparing and set up function rooms, conferences, weddings, and events to required standards
- Assisting with breakfast preparation when required
- Maintaining cleanliness in public areas, including lounges
- Ensuring all equipment is safely stored and switched off when not in use
- Completing detailed night reports, logging incidents, maintenance issues, and guest feedback
- Providing clear handover to morning teams
- Have previous experience in hospitality, ideally within a hotel environment
- Have supervisory experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
- Have excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach
- Have the ability to work independently and take ownership of the night operation
- Have good communication and organisational skills
- Have a flexible approach to working hours, including nights and weekends
- Have high standards of personal presentation

Please note: This role is varied and requires flexibility. Duties may evolve in line with business needs.
Additional Information- This is a fixed term contract until 13 July 2026
- Working 5 out of 7 days per week including weekends and bank holidays
- 40 hours per week
- Working Hours: 2230hrs-0700hrs daily
- Hourly Rate: £15 per hour
