About the Role

Our client is seeking a calm, reliable, and proactive Housing Night Concierge to join their team in Salisbury. This role provides essential overnight support within supported accommodation, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment throughout the night.

You will act as a reassuring presence on-site, supporting individuals who may have complex needs or display challenging behaviours, while helping maintain a peaceful and safe setting for all residents.

Additional Information

  • A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle are required. (Business insurance will be needed if travel for work is involved.)
  • This role involves working evenings and nights after 7 PM. Full shift patterns will be discussed at interview.
  • Shifts are waking night shifts, requiring you to be alert and responsive at all times.

Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm in unexpected or difficult situations.

Desirable (but not required):

  • Previous experience in overnight or concierge roles.Full training and induction will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a reassuring presence on-site, ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of residents during night-time hours and weekends.
  • Carry out regular building checks and patrols to monitor safety, identify maintenance issues, and maintain a calm environment.
  • Monitor CCTV, responding quickly and appropriately to any concerns in line with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs, recording incidents, observations, and activities throughout the shift.
  • Provide clear verbal and written handovers to ensure smooth transition between shifts.
