DESCRIPTION

Our vision is to make Amazon the best place for third-party Selling Partners of all sizes to grow and serve customers, leveraging world-class tools and services. The Amazon New Seller Recruitment (NSR) team is seeking a New Account Manager who is self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced, 360 sales cycle environment.

In this role, you will identify high sales potential Selling Partners to enroll on Amazon, building your own pipeline through resources such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google.

Once you have identified new Selling Partner opportunities, you will build relationships with key decision-makers within those prospective businesses to present a compelling business case for launching on Amazon that meets and exceeds our Selling Partners' requirements.

After launching these Partners on Amazon, you will be their Account Manager for the year, building long-term strategic partnerships for mutually beneficial sales growth. You will play a pivotal role in strategically growing our business across our Renewed, Brand Owners, Resellers, Holdout, and Agencies Selling Partner portfolio.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal Amazon stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop materials that ensure high program adoption. Success in this role requires comfort working in a fast-paced environment and motivation to meet and exceed challenging sales goals.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Build your own pipeline of opportunities, identifying high sales potential Selling Partners through resources such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google.
  2. Establish and manage the business and technical relationships with key decision-makers, managing day-to-day interactions to build long-term partnerships.
  3. Develop a clear understanding of our Selling Partners and their needs, articulating compelling reasons for launching on Amazon, and working closely with Partner Teams to drive positive Seller Experience.
  4. Successfully account manage all Selling Partners you launch on Amazon, fostering long-term strategic partnerships for mutual growth.
  5. Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track account information and sales progress, forecast, and prioritize to meet or exceed quarterly enrollment targets.
A day in the life
  • Manage multiple business opportunities concurrently, review your sales pipeline daily, and handle external stakeholders effectively.
  • Build compelling business rationales for launching on Amazon in a consultative, engaging manner.
  • Work comfortably in a fast-paced sales environment, autonomously and within your team, to meet sales targets and manage priorities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay methods at small and medium businesses
  • Experience influencing at all organizational levels, especially at the executive level
  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
