Job Description
Within the Hôpital de La Tour, the department of physiotherapy is supported by a team of more than 45 physiotherapists and is accredited by Swiss Olympic Medical, based on clinical expertise hubs, a strong culture of evidence-based practice, and an active commitment to research and knowledge sharing, all serving clinical excellence and continuous development, which are integral parts of our identity. As part of the development of our neurology activity, we are recruiting a Neurology-oriented Physiotherapist at 75% CDI. The neurological activity is part of the neurology hub of the department and covers a wide range of care, including: Central neurology (stroke, cranial, chronic). The activity focused on neurology will be practiced within a specialized, structured team engaged in a quality-driven, scientific dynamic. The rest of the activity rate integrates with the other clinical axes of the department, depending on the profile and skills of the incumbent. Clinical mission:• Evaluate functional and neuromotor abilities of patients using validated clinical tools, considering their life context and functional objectives.• Design and implement physiotherapy programs tailored to the specifics of neurological care (acute, subacute, and chronic).• Support patients and their families in enhancing functional capacities, autonomy, and daily well-being.• Provide general or specialized physiotherapy in another field, rigorously and integrated into the service and clinical standards of the department.Teamwork and expertise:• Actively participate in the functioning of the neurology hub.• Contribute to clinical exchanges, case discussions, and training within the service.• Collaborate closely with other professionals in the department, with physicians and hospital teams, in a structured interdisciplinary approach.Science and development:• Engage in scientific monitoring and evidence-based data in clinical practice.• Participate in reflections on the evolution of care, tools, and protocols.• Contribute, depending on your profile and interest, to research projects and service development.We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:• Swiss X degree or X diploma granted by the Swiss Red Cross.• Clinical experience and/or specific experience in neurological physiotherapy.• Strong interest in the care of neurological patients, within a specialized context.• Sensitivity to scientific approaches and clinical reflection.• Enjoyment of teamwork, knowledge sharing, and structured environments.• Curious, committed, autonomous spirit with a proposal mindset.• Excellent relationship-building skills with patients and their surroundings.We offer you:• CDI• Activity rate: 75% (approximately 45% of full-time dedicated to neurology)• Hours: to be determined, possible scheduling over 3, 4, or 5 days.• A specialized, stimulating, and recognized work environment.• Opportunities for skills enhancement and continued access to clinical research and therapeutic advancements. jid720520baen jit0207aen jpiy26aen
